VEL NOGET AF DET SIDSTE TØJ TIL GINGER
ONE OF GINGER'S LAST OUTFITS, I SUPPOSE

This is one of the first dolls I bought off ebay. I bought her because of her red hair, but the wig turned out to be completely glued to her scalp all the way down to her neck! Not very nice. I managed to get the wig off, I carefully washed and combed all the glue out of it - look how nice it is now! Her eyes open and shut as they should, but at some time they may have been pried open - the corners show minor damage. Her walker is all right, she's quite a delightful doll now, in spite of being a clone.
I did actually decide to get rid of her, but I thought better of it, so here she is, back in my collection, dressed in an outfit shown in the 1960 Swedish NK catalog as #225. It is of very poor quality, quite unlike most of the earlier Ginger outfits, the hat is a limp felt hat, and it either lost its tag or never was tagged. If I had not seen it in the booklet, I would never have guessed this is supposed to be a Ginger outfit.
